ButchieGweyno is a username which is often used for Gangster Nation bots, by tradition. The username was originally used for a mission (part of an old feature called "missions") in earlier rounds of the game in which players had to find and kill him. The username is still used today at different times, uses are recorded below.

Uses of the ButchieGweyno username

• In the deathmatch at the end of the Dec 2007 - May 2008 round, a user named ButchieGweyno had signed up to the game and was soon found out to be a game computer player. The account had $1billion in the bank for the player who killed him to receive and over $100mil, increasing periodically, in his wallet for users to extort from him. The account was revealed to have over 2 million bullets stocked with a backfire setting of double. Due to the nature of the computer player, he did not move states or try to fire back other than standard kill backfire - this meant that players were able to shoot in small amounts to bring down his initial bullet stock. Various players died attempting to kill Butchie until pottsy killed him off but also died in his backfire. The account returned with various other usernames such as iButchieGweyno to give different players the fun of killing and extorting him. Dementia was finally able to kill him and survive thus becoming the richest player in GN history.

Where the username arrived from

The username came into the game in early 2006 and was a suggestion by player Catherine, the sister of Mike who was the sole developer of Gangster Nation at the time. The first part of the username is from the name of Mikes dog, Butch (Butchie).
